2 Brothers Entertainment is very excited to introduce this new fresh
talented singer and songwriter with his debut album, Goodbye Vir Nou.
His passion for music has driven him from a young age, so much that he
decided at the age of 19 to make the move to Pretoria from Empangeni in
KZN to pursue his career and chase his dream! But before you think here
is another upcoming singer/songwriter, you have to listen to the album.
This album contains 12 original songs written by Wikus, that will take
you on a musical journey like few albums can! Without realising it, his
songs will remind you of being young and in love, innocence, dreams and
where each of us comes from.
Goodbye Vir Nou is a mixture of Afrikaans Acoustic Pop, folk,
alternative with a Rock foundation, but with songs like Laaste Song,
which is a combination of classical music and Irish folk music and Jy
Maak Nogsteeds My Dag this album promises to entertain young and old!
His music tells stories, and the stories will crawl into your heart with
each song. This album doesn't only contain great musicians, but also
includes a duet with Liza Brönner! The end result an album with soul,
character and an overdose of originality!
The album title, Goodbye Vir Nou, is also the first radio single which
is already playlisted on plenty of radio stations nationwide within just
one week after submitting the single! Wikus has also been touring with Liza Brönner the last year, as Liza's guitarist and backing vocalist
whilst opening for most of the performances.
