Evert van Niekerk, a very gifted violinist, saw two small children palying the violin when he was only 7 years old. There and then he decided that that was what he was going to do, and he has never looked back. Evert already excelled in music during his school career and has ever since played in numerous orchestra's and in many theatres and different stages. He has amongst others played for Joshua Bell when he performed in Gauteng and for Helmut Lotti during his tour of South Africa in 2009. Evert's beautiful violin music can be heard on a long list of some of the biggest names in the South African music industy's albums. Evert's wish is to keep on working on his skills and to touch and change the life every listener of his lovely music. "Lof Op Snare" is an instrumental gospel album by the talented and well-known violinist, Evert van Niekerk. The melodies on this elevating CD all have a strong lyric quality that will want the listener to sing along.
