Many of you will remember the man with one of the biggest songs this country has seen to date "Was Ek Maar ´n Digter" this amazing artist was indeed one of South Africas sweethearts back in the 80s and 90s. Kupido has not released an album for the last 10 years, but after talking to Deon van der Merwe at Fantasia, decided to give his music career another huge jump start. With the huge success Fantasia is enjoying in the Country and Gospel market, there is no doubt, that an artist like Kupido, will only be a matter of time, before he climbs on to the national top 20 for outstanding sales.
The amazing songwriter, Rudi Claase, was brought in, along with Ronéll Erasmus, Deon van der Merwe, Alan Ladd ect, to write songs and boy they did not disappoint. The songs written for Kupido is really something that his old fans will enjoy, and they will also afford him a huge crowd that have not been buying fans in the past.
